THE STUDENT VISA

The Los Angeles ORT College is approved by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to enroll non-immigrant aliens using F-1 or M-1 visas. Student applicants seeking admission through the Form I-20 Certificate of Eligibility should contact the Admissions Office for further information. In addition to the standard application procedure, foreign student applicants are required to submit either an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score or take an English as a Second Language placement examination administered by the Institute. In certain cases, depending upon the examination score, admission to the Institute may require that an entering foreign student enroll in the Institute's English as a Second Language program.

If you would like LAOTI to send an I-20 Form to you, please forward the following:

  1. Application for Admission.
  2. Certificate of Graduation (High School or College).
  3. Supporting documentation regarding financial resourses, that is, a Bank Statement ($16,000+) or Affidavit of Support.
  4. International Money Order for the cost of the Program payable to LAORT
  5. A $100.00, non-refundable, fee for processing of the I-20 Form payable to LAORT.
  6. Copy of Passport or Picture ID.
