We want to help make it easier to launch your career. Meet with agents who can connect you with employers who seek your newly acquired skills and knowledge.
Please come to ORT’s 5th Floor Lobby at 12:00 p.m. (Arrive a few minutes early just to be safe.)
It’s time to take the next step in your career and LA ORT is here to help. This job fair is a great way to meet employers, gain experience in interviews, and do it all in a familiar, comfortable setting!
You Are Invited
All recent graduates, all graduates from 2010 to the present, and all students nearing graduation are invited. There will be opportunities to interview for jobs related to the following degrees:
- Business Management
- Administrative Assistant

- Medical Office Management
We’ve scheduled a presentation and interviewing opportunity with AccounTemps and their other branches related to our programs, such as Robert Half and OfficeTeam. The presentation will be about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
AccounTemps “is the world’s first and largest specialized temp agency for accounting, finance and bookkeeping professionals. Our temporary staffing solutions connect highly skilled professionals with the best companies in the world.”
OfficeTeam “is the world’s leading staffing service specializing in the placement of highly skilled office and administrative professionals into front office and administrative assistant jobs.”
Robert Half Finance and Accounting has been providing companies “with highly skilled accounting and finance professionals” since 1948.
How to Prepare
We want you to have the best possible opportunity to expand your career, so here’s a quick checklist you can use to get you ready for the fair.
Check that your resume is as up to date as possible. Be sure to include any externships and other relevant experience!
Print out multiple copies of your resume to bring to the Job Fair along with other supporting data.
Wear business attire. Get your hair trimmed. A manicure is a good idea, too. You want to make a great first impression!
Review your skills and be prepared to discuss why you would make a great addition to your industry.
Put Your Phone on Do Not Disturb: It never looks good when you interrupt a potential employer with a clever ringtone.
Eat a healthy breakfast: Try some oatmeal and blackberries, half a grapefruit (they’re in season right now!), or maybe a couple eggs with some kale and brown rice. You might be surprised at how much more alert and active you’ll feel.
Relax and smile! You have all the skills and training already, just be friendly and engaging!
