Reviews of LA ORT’s Medical Office Management Program
As a potential student, nothing is more important than reviews of current or former students who have gone through the program that you are considering to enroll. That’s why, instead of us telling you what the Medical Office Management program is like, we decided to let the students tell you themselves. Take a look at what our recent graduates have been up to since graduation, and how they really feel about their experience.
The Associate Degree in Medical Office Management program at LA ORT takes about a year to complete, and you’ll study topics like medical terminology, medical records, medical insurance and coding, and clinical skills. The program ends with an externship, which many of our students have found helpful in transitioning into the workforce. Here is the feedback we have received.
“Everything I learned in the Medical Office Management program has been put to use in my daily job. My boss, Dr. Kevin Thomas, has been impressed by my skills and knowledge I have with the medical field at the moment…He started to notice how much effort I was putting in and raised my pay twice.”
“Narineh placed me with Dr. Mehdizadeh where I completed my externship and got to experience what I studied in the real world. I then was offered two jobs, and I was able to choose the best one that was fitting with my schedule and lifestyle. I am very happy with my new job. I am working in New Sunrise Clinic as a medical assistant and enjoy going to work every day and assisting my patients, staff, and the doctors.”—Zhiyuan Cui
“I graduated from my program and was able to start working as a Medical Front Office Administrator in Interface Rehab Inc., where I get to assist patients in their weakest moments in life. I am glad that my skills and education helped me land this job and be helpful to others and be able to assist another human being.”
