Which Business Program Is Right For You?
Once you’ve decided you want a career in Business, many doors open for you. You could be an accountant, a manager, an entrepreneur, or any of a wide array of business-related jobs. ORT has two different degree programs that will prepare you for your new career: Accounting and Business Management. The important thing is to evaluate all your options before deciding which path is right for you.
If you’re fascinated by numbers and love all things financial, then the Accounting AAS is for you. After graduation, you could be an accountant or bookkeeper, or you could find a job in payroll, auditing, insurance, banking, tax preparation, or real estate.
You’ll study things like database management, corporate accounting, depreciation, and merchandise and payroll accounting. The program lasts between 48 and 76 weeks, and you need to have proof of high school graduation or equivalent to be admitted.
For those interested in rising to the top, our program in Business Management is the place to start. With your Associate degree in Business Management, you’ll be ready to step into a leadership role in a wide variety of industries. You’ll even have the solid foundation needed to start your own business.
This program covers topics like office procedures, accounting applications, management tactics, business-related law, marketing and advertising, and computer skills. The program has the same length and entrance requirements as our Accounting program.
